The hoof works with the sole inside the shoe to safeguard natural hoof movement, balance, stability, cushioning, blood flow and promote a more consistent surface contact & rollover motion.

The hoof sinks into the sole for cushioning and sideways/ forward for movement.
Promotes a more consistent surface contact
The sole is flexible and elastic and adapts between the hoof and surface. The grip is flexible and customized to ensure traction. This will enable the horse to feel the ground.
Safeguards the horse’s natural stability
Hoof-ground contact occurs at the designed sole inside the shoe and is therefore constant.
PUTTING THE JOGGING SHOE TO THE TEST
In collaboration with Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry professor, Lars Roepstorff, Equine Fusion conducted testing to further understand the key benefits of the Jogging Shoe. Using an Orono Biomechanical Surface Tester (OBST), which mimics maximum loads and velocities for a 600kg horse during the early landing/touchdown phase after an obstacle, results found that the Equine Fusion All Terrain Jogging Shoe significantly reduces the maximum load for a horse during this phase.
